This website is a product of HPC Sustainability. We are trying to establish the CO2 footprint for the HPC sector as a whole. We will combine the numbers from this website along with standardized data from HPC Conferences, Work from Home practises, and Lifecycle analysis to derive a number. We believe it will be around 2.7% of the world CO2 output, but it is likely higher.
